Prolaxies Ltd. (for the FoodSpecs App)
This page provides the steps to permanently delete your FoodSpecs account and all associated user data, as required by Google Play and our Privacy Policy.
Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
The fastest and most secure way to delete your account is directly within the FoodSpecs app, as this process immediately verifies your identity.
- Open the FoodSpecs app on your mobile device.
- Navigate to the Settings or Profile tab.
- Tap Account or Account Settings.
- Select the “Delete Account” option.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the permanent deletion.
Option 2: Web Request (For Users Unable to Log In)
If you have uninstalled the app or are unable to access your account, you may submit a formal request here.
To initiate the account and data deletion process, please send an email to our support team with the following details:

- Subject Line: Account Deletion Request – FoodSpecs
- Body of Email:
- Your Name (as used in the app):
- The Email Address associated with your Google Sign-In account:
- Reason for Deletion (Optional):
Upon receipt of your email, Prolaxies Ltd. will verify your ownership of the associated Google account and complete the deletion process. You will receive a final confirmation email when the process is complete.
What Data is Deleted and What is Kept?
Upon account deletion, we will permanently delete the following data from our servers:
- Personal Information: Your Name, Email Address, and Google Profile Picture URL.
- Account History: All associated data logs, including any metrics, progress, and historical app usage data.
Data Retention for Legal Compliance:
We reserve the right to retain certain data for limited periods where required by law (such as financial records related to any transactions or for legal compliance/fraud prevention). This retained data will be anonymized or protected and will not be accessible as part of your active FoodSpecs account.
